Release Notes - Version 3.2.1

 

Overview

3.2.1 is a minor release that patches particularly important bugs introduced in 3.2. A handful of minor new features and improvements are also available.

Note: Artifact File Transfer to the agents has changed to use the Codestation Protocol. This change now necessitates that the field "External Url" under System -> ServerSettings needs be set to the url of the WebUI.

Improvements

  • Agents cache resolved artifacts using CodeStation (improves performance)
  • Help is now searchable
  • LDAP users may be added through the UI
  • Individual steps may be made inactive
  • Graphical Reporting works even if an X server is not running in Linux

Bugs Fixed

  • Several minor security holes patched
  • Build life dependency tab now correctly links to builds using this build life
  • Agent upgrade for Windows services fixed
  • Several fixes to the installer - particularly the windows command line
  • Gave user creating a role permissions to configure it
  • Audit supports larger audit data sets
  • CVS_RSH now properly resolved as a property
  • A special case LDAP role mapping failed has been corrected
  • Newly created reports can be cancelled without error
  • Cleanup and delete commands now fail if some files are not deleted
  • Eclipse plugins now work with IBM JDKs
  • Resource lock requests are now queued in order
  • Repository triggers no longer fail if quiet period is disabled
  • SVN revision numbers no longer contain a leading 'r'
  • ServerGroup helper renamed Environment helper
  • Special case in dependency resolution that could resolve to an in-progress build fixed
  • Server side commands now update the job information more quickly
  • XML in logs renders incorrectly on log viewing page
  • Various import/export fixes
  • AnthillPro ${} syntax expanded to allow mutiline and } character
